Believe Me, This Banana Peach Overnight Oats Is a Great Way to kick-start your day.

Want a delicious breakfast waiting for you? These banana peach overnight oats are perfect! Nothing beats creamy oats to start your day.

If you are new to overnight oats, may I present this recipe for banana peach overnight oats?

Picture this: a creamy, dreamy bowl of overnight oats that will make you look forward to waking up the next morning.

It is the best thing to happen for breakfast since avocado toast.

I prep mine in the evenings before bed, so I always have it ready in the morning.

However, you can make these in the morning and munch on them in the evening.

Even better, you can meal-prep them ahead of the week using multiple mason jars.

The choice is yours, but one thing I can guarantee is that these peach overnight oats with bananas will leave you wanting more.

Ingredients for Banana Peach Overnight Oats

Old-fashioned Rolled Oats: I suggest using them for their texture and ability to absorb flavors well, making them ideal for overnight oats. I don’t recommend using Quaker Oats.

Milk: I use unsweetened almond or cashew milk. However, feel free to use your preferred milk.

Banana: You need these to be ripe and mashed. If you want more banana flavor, I recommend using a slightly spotty banana.

Peach: You must also ensure they are ripe by checking for a deep golden-yellow color, a sweet fragrance, and a slight give when gently squeezed. Dice them into tiny pieces.

Chia Seeds: I love to add them for texture and some extra protein.

Vanilla Extract: This is for flavor but is optional.

Maple Syrup or Honey: For some sweetness. You can also substitute with any sweetener of your choice.

Ground Cinnamon: I highly recommend not skimping out on the cinnamon. It makes a huge difference in taste. I promise.

Nutmeg: You will need just a little bit of this. Do not add a lot, as doing so can significantly impact the taste. Feel free to skip it if you aren’t a fan of nutmeg.

Toppings: Feel free to top your banana peach overnight oats with your favorite toppings. I often use sliced bananas, peaches, chopped nuts, and sometimes yogurt.

How to make banana peach overnight oats

To make this recipe, you will need a mixing bowl and two mason jars or cups to transfer your mixture.

You will also need patience; this recipe requires resting time to let the oats and chia seeds soak up the mixture.

Follow these steps to ensure a great-tasting banana peach overnight oats.

Step 1: Combine the Ingredients

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the oats, almond milk, mashed banana, diced peach, chia seeds, vanilla extract, maple syrup/honey, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Step 2: Mix Thoroughly

Stir well to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed. Make sure the liquid is well combined, with the chia seeds and oats fully immersed in it. This will help the oats soften, and the chia seeds swell.

Step 3: Transfer to a Jar and Refrigerate

Pour the mixture into a mason jar or any airtight container. If you prefer, you can divide it into individual serving jars.

Seal the container and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours. This allows the oats to soak up the liquid and become creamy.

Step 4: Serve your banana peach overnight oats

In the morning, give the oats a good stir. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of almond milk to reach your desired consistency.

Top your overnight oats with additional slices of banana and peach, chopped nuts, and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup for extra sweetness.

Expert Tips for Great Tasting Overnight Oats

Use Ripe Fruits: Make sure your bananas and peaches are fully ripe. Ripe bananas add natural sweetness and a creamy texture, while ripe peaches bring a juicy flavor.

Sweeten Naturally: Instead of using refined sugars, sweeten your oats with natural honey, maple syrup, or mashed bananas. This not only adds flavor but also keeps your breakfast healthy.

Prep in Advance: Mix your ingredients the night before to allow the oats to fully absorb the liquid and flavors. This makes for a quick and easy breakfast in the morning.

Layer for Texture: When assembling your oats, layer them with slices of banana and peach. This will ensure you get a bit of fruit in every bite and adds to the overall enjoyment.
