This blackberry raspberry smoothie happens to be another favorite smoothie of mine. And I’m sure by now, you’ve probably figured that I’m a die-hard smoothie lover.
Last night, I was craving something sweet and juicy. However, I wanted to avoid reaching for ice cream because of the number of sugars present, so I opted for a smoothie.
I had some strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and leftover bananas sitting in my pantry. So I decided to make use of the ingredients.
Typically, I add bananas to my smoothies, but this time, I decided to ditch them and use them for my banana cake recipe.
I thought my smoothie would end up bland because of the need for more bananas, but it tasted very delicious. The vanilla plant-based milk I added was what did the trick.
I’ve never been a fan of blackberries. I still don’t like it as a fruit. However, when present in smoothies, it does taste amazing and gives a lovely purplish hue to the overall look.
Guys, I can’t describe how filling this smoothie was. I couldn’t even finish the entire cup after blending it. But it kept me full throughout the night and satisfied my sweet tooth.
If you are craving something sweet, skip the candy aisle and make this smoothie. Your body will honestly thank you for it, and you will become more self-controlled. For example, I stopped heading for the candy aisle after training myself to make smoothies instead of sugary drinks. And it has helped in keeping my weight and sugar levels in check.
Give this recipe a try if you’re having a very long day at work and need something to keep you full. I promise that a few sips will satisfy your sugar cravings and fill you up.
