Strawberries: Fresh strawberries are best for this recipe. However, if you have frozen, I recommend letting it thaw before preparation.

Mango: The sweeter the mango, the better tasting the drink. Look for ripe mangoes at your store and avoid anything that’s hard and sour.

Mango Juice: This adds an additional layer of mango sweetness to the mocktail, which we all love. I used Minute Maid mango punch, but any mango juice will work.

Maple Syrup: To add some sweetness to the drink. Feel free to adjust according to your taste.

Lime: You can also substitute with lemons.

Sparkling water: I love the extra fizz that sparkling water adds to this mocktail. It gives it that refreshing taste we all love in a mocktail, plus it helps bring all the ingredients together into a cohesive taste.

Fresh mint: I use this to add some kick to the drink and garnish.

Ice: This is optional, but if you want your drink to be cold, feel free to use some ice.

How to prepare

As mentioned earlier in this post, this drink recipe takes roughly five minutes to prep. So, if you’re in a hurry and need to be out the door, you can have this ready in no time. Follow these steps to ensure you get a great-tasting mocktail.

Step 1: Prepare the fruit puree

Blender cup filled with fresh strawberry, mango, and maple syrup puree ready for mocktail preparation.

Add your strawberry, mango, and maple syrup to a blender and blend until you have a puree. I chose to use an immersion blender, as it is easy to get more control with it.

A high-powered blender should do the trick if you’re using frozen fruit and don’t have time to let it thaw. If you don’t have a high-powered blender or an immersion blender, add a little bit of water to ensure smooth blending.

Step 2: Add lime and mint leaves

Pouring lime juice and adding mint leaves to strawberry mango mix for an extra zest in the mocktail.

Transfer your fruit puree to a cocktail shaker, and add the lime juice and mint leaves.

Step 3: Pour sparkling water and mango juice

Adding sparkling water to the blended strawberry mango juice in a glass, creating a fizzy mocktail.

Next, add your sparkling water and mango juice of choice. You can substitute with club soda if you don’t have sparkling water.

Step 4: Shake to combine

Covering the mocktail mixer and shaking vigorously to blend the strawberry mango mocktail ingredients well.

Cover your cocktail shaker, ensuring it is adequately sealed, and gently shake it to combine the mixture.

Step 5: Serve your strawberry mango mocktail

Add some ice (optional) to a glass and pour in your strawberry mango mocktail. Garnish with some extra mint leaves and lime slices.

What’s not to love about this recipe? It’s juicy, refreshing, and tasty, and it has a nice kick to it.

But in all seriousness, these are just some reasons why I think this drink will become your new favorite.

Non-alcoholic: As someone who doesn’t like to drink, this is my way of having a non-alcoholic option whenever I’m around friends or guests. Thus, if you happen to be a non-drinker like me, you will find this mocktail a great alternative to regular cocktails.

Healthy: Rest assured, this drink is not only delicious but also a healthy choice. It’s made using simple, natural ingredients, so you can feel good about what you’re putting into your body. Plus, strawberries and mangoes are packed with antioxidants, which are great for your health.

Refreshing: With summertime quickly approaching, it’s only fitting to have a good, refreshing, cold mocktail on hand to handle the hot weather. So, if you’re into the beach vibes and are looking for a good drink to take with you, then this mocktail is a great option.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries - fresh, hulled and halved
  • 1 cup mango - fresh, peeled and diced
  • 2 limes - juice of 2 limes
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup - adjust according to taste
  • 1 cup sparkling water - adjust to top up
  • ½ cup mango juice
  • 10 mint leaves - fresh, for garnish
  • ice - optional for serving

Instructions

  • In a blender or using an immersion blender, combine strawberries, diced mango, and maple syrup.
  • Transfer the fruit puree into a cocktail shaker. Add 2 tablespoons of lime juice and about 10-12 fresh mint leaves. If you don't have a cocktail shaker, a jar with a tight-fitting lid works as well.
  • Add ½ cup of mango juice to the shaker, followed by 1 cup of sparkling water or club soda. If sparkling water isn't available, club soda makes a fine substitute.
  • Ensure the cocktail shaker is sealed tight, then gently shake the mixture to combine the flavors without bruising the mint too much.
  • Optionally, fill two glasses with ice. Strain the strawberry mango mocktail into the glasses, making sure to evenly distribute the drink. Garnish with additional mint leaves and slices of lime.
